How To Make Shepherd’s Pie Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 cups mashed potatoes
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.

Add the onions, carrots, and garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in the frozen peas, beef broth, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Transfer the meat mixture to a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.

Spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top of the meat mixture.

Bake for 20 minutes or until the potatoes are golden brown.
