Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup ground almonds
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, ground almonds, and granulated sugar.

  3. Add the cold diced butter to the bowl and rub it into the dry ingredients using your fingertips until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.

  4. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish, creating an even layer.

  5. Spread the raspberry jam evenly over the crust.

  6. Take the remaining one-third of the crumb mixture and sprinkle it over the raspberry jam, creating a lattice pattern.

  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.

  8. Allow the Raspberry Linzer Slice to cool in the baking dish before cutting it into squares.

  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
