  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.

  3. In another bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and shredded coconut until well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared crust.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely.

  5. In a chilled mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

  6. Spread the whipped cream over the cooled pie. Garnish with additional lime zest or shredded coconut, if desired.

  7. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
