How To Make Pomegranate Jelly Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 cups of pomegranate juice
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 packet (3 oz) of liquid fruit pectin

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, bring the pomegranate juice, sugar, and lemon juice to a boil over medium heat.

  2. Stir constantly until the sugar is completely dissolved.

  3. Stir in the liquid fruit pectin and continue to boil for 1 minute.

  4. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool for a few minutes.

  5. Pour the jelly into sterilized jars, leaving about 1/4 inch of space at the top.

  6. Wipe the rims of the jars clean and cover with sterilized lids.

  7. Process the jars in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes to seal.

  8. Remove from the water bath and let cool completely before storing in a cool, dark place.
