Ingredients

  • 6 medium sized tangerines, juiced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Zest of 1 tangerine

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, water and tangerine zest. Heat on medium-high heat until sugar is dissolved.

  2. Let mixture cool to room temperature.

  3. Stir in tangerine juice, and pour the mixture into a shallow dish.

  4. Freeze for 1 hour, then scrape with a fork to create icy flakes.

  5. Repeat scraping every 30 minutes for 3 hours, or until the mixture is completely frozen.

  6. Serve in small bowls and enjoy!
