  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2 pears, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp cloves
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine the chopped apples, pears, cranberries, honey, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cloves, and water.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.

  3. Simmer uncovered for about 20 minutes or until the fruit is tender and the liquid has reduced and thickened slightly.

  4. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.

  5. Serve warm or chilled.
