  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a 9×9 inch baking dish, spread the fruit evenly across the bottom.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  4. Add in the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.

  5. Pour the batter over the fruit in the baking dish, spreading it evenly.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the fruit is bubbling.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
