  • 2 cups of cherries, pitted
  • 1 cup of rosé wine
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the rosé wine, water, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.

  2. Add the cherries to the saucepan and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the cherries cool in the syrup.

  4. Transfer the cherries and syrup to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.

  5. Serve the cherries in wine glasses or bowls, garnished with a sprig of mint if desired.
