How To Make Red Velvet Cupcakes
These red velvet cupcakes are tender and moist goodies that are enriched with the flavors of sour cream and buttermilk & served with cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients
- 2½cupscake flour
- ⅓cupunsweetened cocoa powder
- 1tspbaking soda
- ½tspsalt
- 1cupunsalted butter,softened
- 2cupssugar
- 4largeeggs
- 1cupsour cream
- ½cupbuttermilk
- 1ozred food color
- 1tbspvanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.

Sift the flour, cocoa powder and baking soda into a large bowl and add the salt to it.

In a stand mixer, whisk together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add in the eggs one at a time.

Whisk in the sour cream, milk, red food coloring and vanilla then add in the flour until just barely mixed in.

Scoop with an ice cream scoop into cupcake liners, ¾ full and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, let cool completely and ice with cream cheese frosting.
