Halloween Rice Krispie Treats Recipe

 

Try this Halloween rice Krispie treats for a quick 15-minute dessert! Chewy rice Krispie bars are drizzle with orange and black candy melts.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 50 marshmallows
  • 7 cups puffed rice cereal
  • cup orange candy melts
  • cup black candy melts
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Spray a 9x13-inch pan with cooking spray.

  2. In an extra large microwave-safe bowl heat butter and marshmallows on high for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth.
  3. Add cereal. Mix until well coated.
  4. Spray 1 hand with cooking spray and use the hand to evenly press mixture into prepared pan. Cool.

  5. Use a long, greased serrated knife sprayed to cut into 12 to 24 squares.

  6. Put candy melts in 2 Ziploc bags, microwave candy melts at 40% power for 1 minute. Knead candy in the bag. Continue to microwave and knead at 30-second intervals until smooth and completely melted.

  7. Snip off a small corner of the Ziploc bag and drizzle the melted candy on top of the crispy treats.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
