
How To Make Cake Batter Rice Krispie Treats
These chewy rice krispie treats are easy to make using cake mix, together with marshmallows for an added gooeyness, then made colorful with sprinkles!

Ingredients
- ¼cupbutter,(4 tbsp) unsalted
- 10ozmarshmallows,(1 bag)
- â…”cupyellow cake mix,(dry cake mix) or white cake mix, boxed
- 6½cupsrice krispie cereal
- ½cupsprinkles
Instructions

Spray an 11×7-inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Set aside.

In a large saucepan over low heat, melt the butter. Add the marshmallows and stir constantly.

Once the marshmallows are completely melted, stir in the dry cake mix. Remove the pan from heat.

Stir in the cereal until it is completely coated with the marshmallow mixture. Mix in half of the sprinkles.

Press into the prepared baking pan using a spatula sprayed with nonstick spray, and top with the remaining sprinkles.

Press down lightly, as too much pressure will create hard rice krispie treats.

Chill for at least 30 minutes, and cut into squares.Â
