How To Make Lemon Poke Cake Recipe

Ingredients
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 package lemon Jell-O
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 container whipped topping
- Lemon zest for garnish
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.

In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix until smooth.

Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

In a separate bowl, dissolve lemon Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in cold water.

Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake.

Pour Jell-O mixture slowly and evenly over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.

Let cake cool completely, then spread whipped topping over the top.
