Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • Confectioners’ sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a bundt pan.

  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, 1 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract.

  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

  5. In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup sugar and cinnamon.

  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared bundt pan.

  7. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the batter.

  8. Pour the remaining batter over the cinnamon-sugar layer.

  9. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon-sugar mixture over the top.

  10. Use a knife to gently swirl the cinnamon-sugar mixture into the batter.

  11. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  12. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.

  13. Dust with confectioners’ sugar before serving.
