Ingredients
- 6 egg whites
- 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325°F. Grease and flour a tube cake pan.

In a large mixing bowl, beat the egg whites, cream of tartar, and salt until soft peaks form.

Gradually add in the granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and flour, mixing until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.

In a mixing bowl, beat together the heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.

In a separate bowl, mash the strawberries with the lemon juice and granulated sugar until well combined.

To assemble the cake, spread a layer of the whipped cream on top of the cooled cake.

Drizzle the strawberry ganache over the whipped cream.
