How To Make Air Fryer Strawberry Shortcake Recipe
A delicious twist on the classic dessert, made with fresh strawberries and made in an air fryer.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup of granulated sugar
- 1 ½ tsp of baking powder
- ¼ tsp of salt
- 3 tbsp of unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces
- 1/3 cup of whole milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- ¼ cup of strawberry jam
- 1 cup of fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tbsp of powdered sugar, for dusting
Instructions

Preheat the air fryer to 350°F.

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Add the chilled butter and mix with your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until well combined.

Grease a 6-inch cake pan with non-stick spray and pour in the batter.

Drop spoonfuls of the strawberry jam onto the batter and swirl with a knife.

Place the sliced strawberries on top of the batter.

Place the cake pan in the air fryer basket and cook for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Remove the cake pan from the air fryer and let it cool for a few minutes.

Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
