How To Make Swedish Potato Gratin
A creamy and comforting potato dish, perfect for a hearty family dinner.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Gruyere cheese
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp butter
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

In a saucepan, heat the cream and minced garlic over low heat for 5 minutes.

Grease a baking dish with butter and layer the sliced potatoes in it.

Pour the cream mixture over the potatoes and sprinkle the grated Gruyere cheese on top.

Season with salt and pepper.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes to brown the top.

Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
