  • Powdered sugar, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon.

  2. Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt 1 tablespoon of butter.

  3. Dip each slice of brioche bread into the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for a few seconds on each side.

  4. Place the soaked slices onto the hot skillet or griddle and cook until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.

  5. Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.

  6. Serve the French toast hot with maple syrup, fresh berries, and a dusting of powdered sugar.
