How To Make Kwek Kwek

Ingredients
- 24 quail eggs
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 cup water
- oil for frying
- vinegar or spicy vinegar for dipping
Instructions

In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Mix well.

Gradually add water to the dry ingredients while stirring continuously until a smooth batter is formed.

Place the quail eggs in a pot of boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cool, and peel the shells.

Heat oil in a deep saucepan or fryer to 350°F (175°C).

Dip each quail egg into the batter, making sure it is fully coated, then carefully drop into the hot oil. Fry in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.

Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried quail eggs from the oil and transfer them to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve Kwek Kwek hot with vinegar or spicy vinegar for dipping.
