How To Make Dutch Poffertjes Recipe
Fluffy and mini pancakes that will melt in your mouth.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of flour
- 1/2 tsp of salt
- 1 tbsp of sugar
- 1 tsp of yeast
- 1 1/4 cups of warm milk
- 1 egg
- Butter or oil for cooking
- Powdered sugar for serving
Instructions

In a bowl, mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast.

Slowly add warm milk while stirring the mixture.

Add egg and mix until the batter is smooth.

Cover the bowl with a cloth and leave it in a warm place for 30 minutes.

Heat a Poffertjes pan or a non-stick mini pancake pan on medium heat.

Brush pan with butter or oil and add batter using a small spoon.

Cook until bubbles form on the surface and flip.

Cook for a minute on the other side.

Remove from the pan and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Serve hot with additional powdered sugar or syrup.
