How To Make Steve’s PaleoGoods Bison Stew Recipe
A hearty and flavorful stew made with tender bison meat and a variety of vegetables.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. Bison Stew Meat, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 tbsp. Olive Oil
- 1 Onion, diced
- 3 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 2 Carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 Stalks of Celery, sliced
- 2 Potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 tsp. Salt
- ½ tsp. Black pepper
- 1 tsp. Dried Thyme
- 1 Bay Leaf
- 4 cups Beef Broth
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.

Add the bison meat and cook until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Transfer the meat to a plate and set aside.

Add the onions and garlic to the pot and sauté until softened, about 3-5 minutes.

Add the carrots, celery, and potatoes to the pot and mix well.

Season with salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaf.

Pour in the beef broth and stir well.

Add the browned bison meat back into the pot.

Uncover the pot and continue to simmer for an additional 30 minutes.

Remove the bay leaf before serving.
