How To Make Rocco DiSpirito’s Turkey Chili Recipe
A hearty and healthy chili with ground turkey, fire-roasted tomatoes, and kidney beans that’s perfect for a cold night in.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 yellow bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 can fire-roasted diced tomatoes, undrained
- 1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add ground turkey and cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon.

Add the onion, garlic, and bell peppers and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and salt and pepper. Stir to combine.

Add the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, and water. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Serve hot with optional toppings.
