How To Make Old Spaghetti Factory Raspberry Sorbet

Refreshing and tangy vegan dessert made with fresh raspberries.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh raspberries
  • 1 cup water
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Rinse and dry the raspberries.

  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the raspberries, water, sugar, and lemon juice over medium-high heat until the sugar dissolves.

  3. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Let the mixture cool for 5 minutes.

  5. Pour the mixture into a food processor or blender and puree until smooth.

  6. Strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove the seeds.

  7. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until completely cold.

  8. Once cold, churn the mixture in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.

  9. Transfer the sorbet to a container and freeze for at least 2 hours or until firm.
