How To Make Mrs. Clinton’s Cinnamon Rolls
Soft, warm and gooey cinnamon rolls, filled with melted butter and cinnamon, topped with sweet cream cheese frosting.

Ingredients
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- For the frosting:
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.

In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter over low heat until butter is melted.

Add milk mixture and egg to the flour mixture, stirring until the dough comes together.

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a towel. Let it rise for about 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Roll out the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.

In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar and cinnamon.

Brush melted butter onto the dough, then sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar mixture.

Roll up the dough tightly, then cut into 12 rolls. Place the rolls into a greased baking dish.

Bake for 25-30 minutes. While the rolls are baking, prepare the frosting.

In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and butter together. Gradually add in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.

Once the rolls are done, let them cool for a few minutes before spreading frosting on top.
