Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork shoulder
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ketchup

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Rub the spice mix all over the pork shoulder and place it in a slow cooker.

  3. Add apple cider vinegar and ketchup, cover with a lid, and cook on low for 8 hours.

  4. Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using a fork.

  5. Toss the pulled pork back into the juices in the slow cooker to keep it moist and flavorful.

  6. Serve hot with your favorite sides.
