How To Make Joella’s Mac and Cheese Recipe
Creamy, cheesy and comforting mac and cheese that will satisfy your cravings like nothing else!

Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions

Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk continuously for 1-2 minutes until you have a paste.

Pour in the milk gradually, whisking constantly to avoid lumps. Keep whisking until the sauce thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

Add the onion powder, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Add the grated parmesan and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted and smooth.

Add the cooked macaroni to the saucepan and stir until the macaroni is evenly coated with the cheese sauce.

Transfer the mac and cheese to a baking dish. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven at 375°F for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
