How To Make Friendly s Clamboat Recipe
A classic New England favorite, our Clamboat is a hearty seafood dish loaded with fresh clams, crispy fries, and tartar sauce.

Ingredients
- 2 lbs fresh clams
- 4 cups of vegetable oil
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 tsp of garlic powder
- 1 tsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1/2 tsp of dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups of French fries
- Tartar sauce for dipping
Instructions

Rinse and scrub the clams thoroughly and set aside.

In a deep pot, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F.

In a medium-sized bowl, whisk together flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.

Dredge the clams in the flour mixture until coated.

Fry the clams in the hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
