How To Make Fisherman s Crab Bisque Recipe
A creamy and delicious soup loaded with fresh crab meat and perfect for seafood lovers.

Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh crab meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 cups seafood stock
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.

Add onion, celery, and garlic. Cook until vegetables are soft.

Add flour and stir constantly for 2 minutes to form a roux.

Slowly whisk in seafood stock and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer for 20 minutes.

Add crab meat, cream, cayenne pepper, thyme, salt and pepper to the pot. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Use an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and puree until smooth. Serve hot.
