How To Make Black Kettle Restaurant’s Fried Chicken Recipe
Our mouth-watering fried chicken is golden, crispy, juicy, and perfectly seasoned.

Ingredients
- 4 bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp of garlic powder
- 1 tbsp of onion powder
- 1 tsp of paprika
- 1 tsp of cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp of salt
- 1 tsp of black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions

In a large bowl, marinate chicken in buttermilk for at least 4 hours or overnight in the fridge.

In another bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

Heat vegetable oil in a Dutch oven or deep frying pan until it reaches 350°F.

Take chicken out of the buttermilk, shake off excess, and coat with flour mixture.

Carefully place chicken in the hot oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Place the fried chicken on a wire rack to drain off excess oil.
