How To Make Black Kettle Restaurant’s Chicken Marsala Recipe
A rich and flavorful chicken dish that features Marsala wine and mushrooms.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp butter
- Chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
-
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then dredge them in flour.
-
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
-
Add the Marsala wine and chicken broth to the same skillet over medium heat, scraping up any browned bits left by the chicken. Add the mushrooms and let the sauce simmer until the mushrooms are tender and the sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.
-
Stir in the butter until melted and sauce is well combined.
-
Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce on top. Simmer until heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
-
Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve hot.
