  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup whole milk

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season with salt and pepper. In a large pot, brown the chicken over medium-high heat until cooked through.

  2. Add the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, thyme, and garlic powder to the pot. Stir to combine and bring to a boil.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until a soft dough forms.

  4. Drop spoonfuls of the dough into the boiling chicken mixture. Reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Simmer for about 15 minutes or until the dumplings are cooked through.
