Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

  3. In a separate mixing bowl, beat melted butter and sugar until well combined.

  4. Add eggs and vanilla extract, and beat until combined.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, and stir until just combined.

  6. Fold in chocolate chips.

  7. Pour batter into prepared pan, spread evenly.

  8. Bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

  9. Allow to cool before slicing into squares.
