How To Make Ginger Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ginger paste, soy sauce, honey, olive oil, cornstarch, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place the chicken breasts in a ziplock bag and pour the ginger marinade over them. Massage the bag to evenly coat the chicken. Allow it to marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Heat a grill or a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they are cooked through. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).

  4. Remove the chicken from the grill/skillet and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, slice it into thin strips.

  5. Garnish with chopped green onions and serve hot with steamed rice or vegetables.
