How To Make Cider, Mustard & Herb Chicken

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (such as thyme, rosemary, and sage), chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the apple cider, Dijon mustard, fresh herbs, salt, and pepper.

  2. Place the chicken breast halves in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over them. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight if possible.

  3. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.

  5. Grill the chicken for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center.

  6. Remove from the grill and let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
