How To Make French Toast

French toast is a breakfast classic that is loved by all. It’s so easy to make and can easily be customized to suit everyone’s individual tastes. This recipe will result in the perfect, golden-brown French toast that is crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. It’s perfect for a lazy weekend brunch or a quick breakfast before work or school.

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of bread
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • Butter, for frying
  • Powdered sugar and syrup, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle on medium heat.

  2. Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, cinnamon, and salt in a shallow dish.

  3. Dip bread slices into the egg and milk mixture, coating both sides evenly.

  4. Melt butter in the skillet and place the coated bread slices. Cook the slices until golden brown on both sides.

  5. Serve with powdered sugar and syrup.
