Pumpkin Churro French Toast Sticks Recipe

How To Make Pumpkin Churro French Toast Sticks

Nothing is more satisfying than having these flavorful churro French toast made with pumpkin french toast sticks coated in a sweet cinnamon sugar dip.

Total: 35 minutes



  • 1loafstale whiteor brioche bread
  • ¾cupmilk
  • ½cuppumpkin puree
  • 4eggs
  • 1tbspbrown sugarpacked
  • 1tspvanilla extract
  • ¼tspcinnamonground
  • butterfor the griddle
  • ½cupgranulated sugar
  • 1tspCinnamonground
  • maple syrupfor serving


  1. Cut the slices of bread lengthwise into sticks.

  2. Heat a large griddle or skillet over medium.

  3. In a large bowl whisk together the milk, pumpkin, eggs, brown sugar, vanilla, and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon until thoroughly incorporated.

  4. Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon and pour it onto a plate.

  5. Melt approximately 1 tablespoon of butter on the griddle, or enough to coat the entire pan.

  6. Quickly dip the breadsticks into the pumpkin batter, making sure they’re fully coated.

  7. Place the bread onto the griddle. Cook on all 4 sides for 2 to 3 minutes per side or until lightly browned and cooked through.

  8. Roll the French toast sticks in the cinnamon sugar until coated. Repeat in batches until all of the french toast sticks are cooked and coated in cinnamon sugar.

  9. Serve immediately with maple syrup for dipping if desired.
