Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 4 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cucumber, julienned
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • Dressing:
  • 1/4 cup fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the dressing ingredients until well combined. Set aside.

  3. Season the beef slices with salt and pepper. Grill for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.

  4. In a large bowl, toss together the salad greens, cucumber, carrot, red onion, mint leaves, and cilantro leaves.

  5. Slice the grilled beef into thin strips and add to the salad mixture.

  6. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to coat evenly.

  7. Sprinkle with chopped peanuts and serve immediately.
