How To Make Pecan Tassies

Ingredients
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup of chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of corn syrup
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp of salt
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and flour until combined.

Press about 1 tablespoon of the dough into each muffin cup to form the tart shell.

In a separate bowl, mix together the brown sugar, corn syrup, egg, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

Stir in the chopped pecans.

Spoon the pecan mixture into each tart shell, filling them about 3/4 full.

Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the filling is set.

Allow the tassies to cool in the muffin tin for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.
