Ingredients

  • 8 mini venison sausages
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1/4 cup diced red onions
  • 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or stovetop grill pan.

  2. In a small saucepan, combine blueberries, honey, and Dijon mustard. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, until blueberries burst and sauce thickens.

  3. Grill venison sausages until cooked through, about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.

  4. Toast hot dog buns on the grill for a few seconds until lightly charred.

  5. Place 2 sausages in each hot dog bun. Top with blueberry sauce, diced red onions, crumbled blue cheese, and fresh parsley.

  6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
