How To Make McDonald’s Fries
Fries don’t always have to be the regular, straight-cut potatoes. Not only are they the best go-to snack for many, but they also they pair excellently with other meals as a fun add-on. Have some not-so-ordinary fries with these best fries recipes.

- 4 large potatoes
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Instructions

Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin strips of even thickness.

Rinse the potato strips in cold water to remove excess starch.

Dry the potato strips thoroughly using a kitchen towel or paper towels.

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 325°F (160°C).

Fry the potato strips in batches for about 5-6 minutes, until they turn pale golden brown.

Remove the fries from the oil and drain them on paper towels.

Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C).

Fry the par-cooked fries for another 2-3 minutes until they turn deep golden brown and crispy.

Remove the fries from the oil and drain them on paper towels.

Sprinkle salt on the fries while they are still hot.

Toss the fries gently to distribute the salt evenly.
