How To Make Bay & Potato Sticks

Fries don’t always have to be the regular, straight-cut potatoes. Not only are they the best go-to snack for many, but they also they pair excellently with other meals as a fun add-on. Have some not-so-ordinary fries with these best fries recipes.

Ingredients

  • 4 bay leaves
  • 4 potatoes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Slice the potatoes into stick shapes, about 1/2 inch thick.

  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato sticks with olive oil, salt, paprika, and black pepper until well coated.

  4. Place the bay leaves on a baking sheet and arrange the potato sticks on top, making sure they don’t overlap.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the sticks are crispy and golden brown.

  6. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
