  • 8 jalapeño peppers
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Slice each jalapeño pepper in half lengthwise. Use a spoon to remove the seeds and white membranes from each pepper.

  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

  4. Spoon the cream cheese mixture into each jalapeño half, filling them evenly.

  5. Wrap each stuffed jalapeño half with a slice of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.

  6. Place the bacon-wrapped jalapeños on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the jalapeños are tender.

  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
