  • 8 slices of bread
  • 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups of shredded cheese
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and sauté the mushrooms, bell pepper, and onion until they are softened. Season with salt and pepper.

  3. Place four slices of bread on a baking sheet and divide the mushroom and pepper mixture evenly among them.

  4. Top each slice of bread with a generous amount of shredded cheese.

  5. Place the remaining four slices of bread on top to make sandwiches.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
