How To Make Goose and Apricot Compote Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 goose legs
  • 1 cup apricots, pitted and chopped
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Heat oil in a large oven-proof pot and brown the goose legs.

  3. Add in apricots, honey, chicken broth, salt, and pepper. Stir well.

  4. Cover the pot and bake in the preheated oven for 2 hours, or until the meat is tender.

  5. Remove from oven, allow it to cool slightly, and serve with toasty bread or rice.
