  • 10 tomatillos
  • 2 jalapeno peppers
  • 1 small onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Remove the husks from the tomatillos and rinse them under water.

  2. Place the tomatillos, jalapeno peppers, onion, and garlic in a pot of boiling water and cook for 5 minutes.

  3. Drain the vegetables and transfer them to a blender or food processor.

  4. Add in the cilantro, lime juice, and salt.

  5. Blend until smooth.

  6. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.

  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.
