How To Make Chocolate Dipped Easter Shortbread Cookies
Delightful Easter-themed shortbread cookies dipped in delicious chocolate.

Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tbsp coconut oil
- Easter-themed sprinkles
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a large bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add vanilla extract and mix well.

Sift flour and salt together and add to butter mixture. Mix until just combined.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface ( about 1/4 inch thickness).

Cut into desired shapes using Easter-themed cookie cutters.

Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Allow the cookies to cool completely.

Melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a double boiler.

Dip each cookie in the melted chocolate and sprinkle with Easter-themed sprinkles.

Let the chocolate harden in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.
