How To Make Cuban Marinated Steak

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs of flank steak
  • 1/4 cup of orange juice
  • 2 tbsp of lime juice
  • 2 tbsp of olive oil
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp of ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp of dried oregano
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 tsp of black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.

  2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for maximum flavor.

  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Remove the steak from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.

  5. Grill the steak for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  6. Slice the steak against the grain and serve hot.
