How To Make Sopa de Fideos

Ingredients
- 4 cups of chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 cups of fideo noodles (thin vermicelli noodles)
- 1 tbsp of olive oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of cumin
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions

In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until they are soft and translucent.

Add the cumin and dried oregano to the pot and stir for about a minute to release their flavors.

Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, add the fideo noodles and reduce the heat to low. Let the soup simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the noodles are tender.
