Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, diced onions, chopped cilantro
Instructions

In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add the chopped onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper to the pot. Cook until vegetables are tender.

Stir in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, black beans, tomato paste, beef broth, chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.

Bring the chili to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let it cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
