- 2 pounds of chicken bones
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon of whole black peppercorns
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 8 cups of water
