Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork shoulder, cut into chunks
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine orange juice, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.

  2. Place the pork chunks in the slow cooker and pour the mojo sauce over them. Make sure all the pork is coated with the sauce.

  3. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours, until the pork is tender.

  4. Once the pork is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using forks.

  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shredded pork and cook for a few minutes until crispy on the edges.

  6. Serve the slow cooker mojo pork with rice, beans, tortillas, or in sandwiches. Enjoy!
